Jolly Joe jeep 1950s 5-3/4” long by 5 ½ inches high.
The style of the Jolly Joe jeep indicates that it was made in the 1950s. With the same car body as the jumpy jeep, it is lithographed an olive drab and black with rust colored wheel centers. Headlights are lithographed onto the radiator, mounted on the hood of the car is a plastic machine gun two others or lithographed on the hood and trunk. The driver’s stripes indicate that he is a corporal. He has a smiling face with characteristics and features a plastic helmet lithographed arms and a turning head which is larger than those on the jumping jeep. The hood reads “Jolly Joe” and “13079A” on the side of the trunk is number five on the Side a star “U.S. 25, 7- A” is on the top and US on the back. Marx logo is on the right side of the hood. Variations exist and come with and without a metal machine gun.
