I believe the Tractor Set (Seven piece) is from1931, 8-1/2” and was sold by Montgomery Ward. In 1931 they sold 2 variations of a tractor set. The first is the “Super Power Reversing Tractor, which had 6 wheels and was made to move forward and in reverse. Both sets came complete with “several attachments: a brush sweeper, metal scraper or plow, road roller, wrecking device (Wrecker Derrick) steel chain and a metal wagon with a tongue.
The Second Version advertised in 1931, “this tractor has a nickel-plated finish, red wheels and compared with the first version is shorter and has different embossing. The driver wears a tan cap, white shirt and blue overalls. 80 175
This set is unique because of the box, or at least what is left of the box. The box depicts the tractor performing with each of the implements.
There are no documented sales of this set in the recent past either by live auction or through the Internet.
