This tank was originally produced in 1942 by Marx. Somtime in the late 1950’s or early to mid 1960's it was reissued by PlastiMarx, the Marx subsidiary in Mexico. This colorful little tank is lithographed in blue, red and yellow. From the side it is shaped like a flattened oval with a turret on top. The two guns do not emit sparks nor did the earlier version.
A large number “5" Is on the front, a pair of lithographed bogies (wheels) are on the sides, and the Plastimarx logo is on the Tourette at the rear. The lithograph treads are embossed to give a three-dimensional, realistic look. Underneath the tank is a metal bar which helps to balance and turn the tank over while it performs.
The tank is identical to the earlier version with one exciton, the Plastimarx logo has replaced the traditional Marx logo.
